We went out for brunch at a nearby spot (Cafe 100) this morning to celebrate Mother's Day, and despite Miles's tendency towards acting like a fool out in public lately, we actually had a great, relaxing meal! And...yeah...Miles acted like a fool a bit too. But at least we were outside!

Year 3, Day 341
Jaclyn's big birthday request this year was Sunday brunch from Ruby Sunshine, a franchise out of New Orleans that opened at location here last year (but...you know...COVID has kept us away from). Year 2, Day 202
Testing the limits of how far away from us we'll let him walk during brunch this morning.
Year 2, Day 76

While … Continue reading Year 2, Day 76
Day 294 — Miles v. Santa Claus: Dawn of Christmas

Legion Brewing hosted Mr. Kringle for a Sunday brunch, and it was an opportunity Jaclyn and I knew we couldn't pass up. Brunch, beer, AND Santa? Everybody leaves happy! Except, of course, Miles, … Continue reading Day 294 — Miles v. Santa Claus: Dawn of Christmas
Day 42
Miles's presence was requested at brunch this week by Mabel Smith (age 3) and Frannie Smith (age 1). Beyond this, Mabel requested that Miles wear an "itty bitty bow tie," and luckily we could comply. It's not often that a baby makes me feel like I need to step up my clothing game, but there … Continue reading Day 42
