Year 4, Day 73
We went out for brunch at a nearby spot (Cafe 100) this morning to celebrate Mother's Day, and despite Miles's tendency towards acting like a fool out in public lately, we actually had a great, relaxing meal! And...yeah...Miles acted like a fool a bit too. But at least we were outside!
Year 4, Day 71
Miles excitedly stepped out of daycare this afternoon to greet Jaclyn at pick-up. "Happy Mother's Day!" he said proudly, holding out the gifts he had acquired and/or created for her. Jaclyn's heart was warmed, and Miles reveled in her joy for just a moment before declaring that he wanted the gifts back.
Year 3, Day 75
Today, Miles got to celebrate another Mother's Day with his beloved mommy... ...and he also got to discover a new love...when he consumed his first Happy Meal.
