Celebrations were in order today for a couple of reasons. First, today marked Miles’s return to daycare after two weeks at home. Second, somehow Miles is still celebrating his birthday. Around midday, Jaclyn stopped by to drop off some cupcakes for the class.
When I arrived home this evening, I was eager to hear how the day went. Hoping Miles would regale me with stories of the things he learned today, I asked, “Did you have a good day at school?”
“I did!” Miles said. “I eat cupcakes and I drink milk and then I came home. So THAT was a good day!”
