Despite yesterday’s post, Miles had little choice today other than to accept me as his sole provider and responsible party, as his mother was in Raleigh overnight for work.
As we left daycare, I did my best to fill Miles in on the current situation. “Your mom isn’t here tonight.”
“Memmo!” he immediately replied.
I considered this for a moment, then conceded. “Yeah,” I said, “I suppose we can watch whatever we want.”
Needless to say, Miles enjoyed the night with daddy (and yes, Elmo).
