No tears tonight when leaving Miles with his babysitter! In fact, Miles didn’t give us much of ANYTHING…he was as P.T.F.O. as I’ve ever seen him. I tried to wake him up as we got out of the car, then once we were in the house, and then (and I was sure this would work) as I passed him over to Lisa. But NOTHING. On the one hand, I was able to leave the house without feeling the crushing guilt that comes with hearing your child wail as he reaches out for you. On the other, you know, SOME validation would’ve been nice.
