Year 4, Day 221

Getting Miles out the door in the morning is always an adventure. Most times I’m able to stay somewhat removed from that chaos, as I’m typically showering and getting dressed at the same time. I might hear Miles’s screams and Jaclyn’s plaintive, exasperated requests through the walls, but I’ve got to get myself presentable before I can intervene.

And then there are days when Miles comes tearing ass through our bathroom completely pants-less then darts into the closet yelling, “I have to hide from Mommy!!!”

Either way, this kid is WAY more concerned with morning mischief than he is getting to school on time.
