Jaclyn came home from her shopping trip yesterday with a present for Miles. Just the word “present” is enough to get Miles excited beyond measure, but this one was particularly enticing, since it combined his love of balls and his love of hitting things with large sticks.
Of course, the biggest battle we’ve just introduced to our home is the need to frequently reinforce that this is specifically an OUTSIDE toy that is not to be used — at all — indoors. Thankfully, Miles loves spending time outside. And he’s already getting pretty good at hitting the ball!
