In the spirit of the season, we went to Olde Mecklenburg Brewery today to stroll through their Christmas market.
While Miles enjoyed following us around from vendor to vendor, his favorite part was undoubtedly the family play area. Miles’s face lit up as he saw the kids of various ages running around and playing with each other, and I started beaming myself as he walked ahead to approach the kids, eager to join in. I can’t properly articulate just how wonderful it is seeing his love for other kids manifest itself. He sees other children, regardless of gender or age, and Miles immediately wants to make friends. It’s a trait he thankfully inherited from his mother!
