Miles awoke from a nap today to find that Jaclyn and I had gone out with our visiting European friends and had left him in the care of my parents. Perhaps because he doesn’t get to see them quite so often, he’s always a little skittish when we take him back to see his grandparents. But I’m a firm believer that immersion is the best way to learn and adjust to new things.
Sure enough, my dad reported that Miles was “great” once he got used to the fact that we weren’t there with him. And by the end of the night, he was dancing with his grandma (and an ancient, and rather sad, Elmo).
