Year 2, Day 79

After excitedly telling Miles’s daycare about his encouraging walking progress this week, they shared a video with us today so we could get a glimpse of how well he’s been doing with them. I’m not sharing it here since other children are in the video, but it involves Miles holding onto a walker and stepping right along as it rolls in front of him. He even pauses at one point, looks up at someone leaving the room, then lifts a hand from the walker and waves to them! While I never want this blog to turn into a wall of bragging over my child learning basic human traits, as a parent it’s impossible not to feel a swell of emotion at the sight of a child making such an important developmental leap.
