Year 2, Day 57

Miles’s vocabulary, although filled with plenty of babbling, still seems to get stronger every day. Tonight, as I was getting ready to head out to trivia, I heard Miles and Lisa in the kitchen as they were getting ready for dinner. Lisa, in German, was getting Miles hyped, telling him that he was going to be having spaghetti and then asking him if he could say “spaghetti.”

And sure enough, Miles said, “Buh-geh-ghee!”

“Did you hear him?!” Lisa called from the kitchen. “He said it!”

Of course, attempts to elicit a repeat performance came up short. SIGH…always leave them wanting more, kid…
