We arrived back in Myrtle Beach late last night for the holiday weekend. I knew that Miles wasn’t going to be able to really get the most out of his very first Thanksgiving, but there enough generally pureed dishes (mostly centered around potatoes of one sort or another) that he was at least able to get his feet (tongue? No…no, definitely not that. That sounds weird.) wet.
One part of Thanksgiving that Miles did get to experience more fully was seeing family members. I actually took almost no pictures of the lad today, as he spent the bulk of the holiday being passed around from one family member to the next. My mother and father even both waited up until almost midnight last night just to see the kid when we finally arrived. And despite the hustle and bustle, by the end of the night, Miles still managed to look like this:
