Our new place may not feel like much of a home yet, but that hasn’t stopped Miles from having a blast with it. If nothing else, he’s a big fan of the acoustics in the house. With sparse objects around and nothing on the walls, Miles has discovered that his voice will bounce around whatever room he’s in. This echoing has elicited a whole new series of noises.
This morning, Jaclyn and I heard what sounded like a bird from the other side of the house. It was, in fact, Miles, squawking the same sound repeatedly as loud as he could. When we walked in on him, he stopped and turned to us, grinning ear to ear. It was adorable, but then again, he hasn’t started doing it in the middle of the night yet.
