Today we took Miles to his second baseball game ever, and fortunately we were seated under a canopy and none of us boiled alive in the sun. Miles's babysitter Lisa came too, for reasons that Jaclyn assures me were not ulterior.
Miles has gotten pretty good at tossing a ball back and forth with me. Often, this activity proves captivating for him. Other times, well, he's either more interested in other things or doesn't feel like putting the effort in. Or both.
Most afternoons, Miles and I will get to a point about halfway through our drive home where we'll start playing this "call and response" game with each other.
