As suggested by yesterday’s post, being home sick can really turn an already behaviorally-challenged child into an unruly mess of humanity. By dinnertime last night, Miles’s failure to listen warranted being sent to his room for time-out.
After several minutes (long enough for us, at least, to eat in peace), we went back to Miles’s room to see if he was ready to come down for dinner. This is what we found:

Miles turned his light off, turned on his marquee night light, and collapsed in bed. He didn’t wake up until around 3 am, at which point he came into our room, climbed into bed with us, and…continued to sleep. Maybe he’s finally learning that the key to getting better is CALMING TF DOWN?
