I’ve taken great lengths over the years to keep Miles from familiarizing himself with the Minions, those gratingly annoying Mike ‘n’ Ike-looking cinematic abominations. And while he hasn’t seen any of their actual movies, he does now possess a Minion toothbrush, so he at least knows what they look like.
In a desperate attempt to get his attention during an attempted video chat this evening, I sent him a picture of one of the cosplayers at Star Wars Celebration:
Not only was he NOT impressed, Jaclyn’s response was, “What is that?”
…I think leaving my family behind on this trip was the right decision.
