In an effort to get Miles out of the house this morning, Jaclyn made some…promises.
“Daddy!” Miles said as he sprang into the bathroom, WAY more excited than he usually is at 7:30 am. “We’re going to fly to Adventure Bay on a plane and meet the Paw Patrol!!!”
Hoo boy, I thought. Jaclyn’s really going to pay for this when it comes time to pony up.
They ended up having to go to the airport lookout tonight, where Miles was able to watch some planes taking off but was told that, unfortunately, “the gate was closed” and he wouldn’t be able to get a flight today. It was okay, he ultimately reasoned — he wanted me to be able to come with him anyway.
