Miles often displays a high degree of curiosity about things as well as an ability to make connections and conclusions based on the evidence he observes. This makes it extra funny to see, as a parent, when he’s completely off base.
“Hey, what animal this comes from?” he asked tonight, regarding the macaroni and cheese her was eating for dinner. If you’re thinking, “Well, I mean, the cheese technically comes from an animal…sort of…,” then rest assured that I later discovered that Miles is under the impression that we get water from chickens.
He’s a bright kid with a lot to learn.
