After dealing with some seasonal congestion the last couple weeks, I’ve finally started shaking my winter funk. That’s not to say that I don’t still have to cough and hack a little, especially in the morning, which prompted the following conversation with Miles on the way to daycare.
“Are you still sick?” he asked.
“No buddy,” I said, clearing my throat, “I’m feeling better now.”
“What helped you feel better?”
“Well, medicine for sure,” I started. “And you helped me feel better. Oh, and Sick Bear helped me feel better.”
“No,” Miles quickly retorted. “I think what helped you feel better was Miles and Mommy and medicine and Sick Bear.” In that order.
I laughed. “Sounds about right!”
