Year 4, Day 100

Miles was thrilled to learn that he’d be going to a baseball game today, as Jaclyn’s annual company tradition returned after a COVID hiatus last year. What he didn’t fully understand was that the actual playing of baseball would be left to the (semi)professionals.

“No, I want to go down there and PLAY baseball.”

Despite this small disappointment, Miles had plenty of fun. On the way to the game, Miles practiced singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” then asked me, “Daddy, when we get there, will you buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks?”

Ultimately, the only things he was interested in eating were cookies and watermelon.

Miles also became determined to acquire as many baseball caps as possible. Unfortunately, he did so by attempting to steal them from the people around him.

Richard is shocked that Miles has managed to swipe so many hats (including his own)!
