In which Miles feels the Bern, and also the Burn.
I picked Miles up a little early today so he could join me at a Bernie Sanders rally that was, seriously, like a half mile from daycare. We got there pretty early and staked out a spot in the shade.
Things went well…for a time. Sadly however, the shade ultimately did little to mute the oppressive heat of the afternoon. Miles enjoyed playing in the grass and even clapping during some of the speeches; by the time Bernie came out, though, he was about done with being outside, leaving me with no choice but to take him home just as the main event was starting.
